Job summary

Air Methods seeks a PacWest Regional Aviation Manager to oversee aviation operations, safety and training across the regional area. You will lead pilots and aviation staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, OPS manuals and SMS programs.

Responsibilities include coordinating training, monitoring safety metrics, managing budgets, and supporting incident investigations. The role requires 2,500 flight hours and Part 135 operation experience, with a strong leadership presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and aviation experience.
• 2,500 flight hours required.
• Two years of Part 135 operation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee aviation activities and personnel within the regional area.
• Ensure operations comply with regulations and manuals.
• Coordinate pilot training with the Pilot Training team.
• Review budget variances and report to Director of Operations.
• Lead safety initiatives with Regional Safety Director and CMS.
• Investigate incidents and support root-cause analyses.
• Monitor AIDMOR submissions and on-scene incident leadership.
• Ensure 24/7 availability for operational requirements.
