Job Purpose and Impact

The Regional Application Engineering Leader serves as a subject matter expert on the application and use of FR3 fluid. In this role, you will support the regional commercial team by providing training and support to end users and transformer manufacturers. Success in this role requires a strong understanding of mineral oil and FR3 fluid properties, transformer design processes, and how insulating liquids influence design decisions. Frequent travel is required to support regional teams and provide face-to-face training for customers. When not traveling, responsibilities include answering technical questions via email or Teams, writing papers, or presenting at industry events.

Key Accountabilities

• Establish and cultivate effective technical relationships with customers to maintain and grow business.
• Provide commercial prospecting and anticipate technological developments.
• Oversee individual technology projects within your scope.
• Seek solutions using deep knowledge in one or more fields and broad knowledge across specialties.
• Identify and support strategic customers in the region.
• Handle complex issues independently, escalating only the most difficult ones.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Ability to travel up to 50%
• At least four years of related work experience
• Experience with insulating liquids in transformers

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English; Spanish is optional
• Experience in project and product management
• Experience with distribution or power transformer design or manufacturing
• Customer support experience
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment

Location: This position is remote within the US. No relocation assistance provided.

The expected salary is $120,000 - $130,000, depending on various factors including location, certifications, education, and experience. Compensation may include a discretionary incentive based on company and personal performance.
