Job summary

Tessenderlo Kerley, Inc. is seeking a Regional Agronomist to back the Crop Nutrition and Tiger-Sul sales team in the Pacific Northwest. You will apply expertise in specialty fertilizers, design field trials, and translate results into practical recommendations for customers and sales teams.

You will travel frequently (up to 50%) to engage with researchers, support marketing messages, and foster strong distributor relationships while advancing market share and product knowledge across the region.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree preferred or bachelor’s with 1-3 years experience.
• CCA license or willingness to obtain within one year.
• Strong communication and English fluency; ability to present to groups.
• Knowledge of specialty fertilizer products and nitrogen stabilizers.
• Familiar with 4R Nutrient Stewardship and precision agriculture.
• Experience with agronomic research and statistics.
• Knowledge of competitors’ products and crop protection.

Responsibilities

• Identify crop fertilization needs using Tessenderlo Kerley products.
• Design field tests and demonstration trials to support sales.
• Build relationships with university and private researchers.
• Visit sites to evaluate research quality.
• Collaborate with Sales, Agronomists, and Marketing on messages.
• Provide technical support to customers for product use.
• Research competitors and potential licensing or new products.
• Engage external researchers to support trials.
• Monitor market dynamics and emerging trends.
• Strengthen distributor and customer relationships with technical support.
