Position Overview

The Regional Agronomic Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating overall strategic sales and marketing plans to increase agronomic product sales and grow profit in the Florida Region, focusing their efforts on localized assortments based on the geographic area, product and service demands. The Regional Agronomic Manager is responsible for collaborating to develop and communicate product availability and supply levels, merchandising directives, pricing guidance, operational standards and growth plans to area leaders, sellers, and branch team members. The Regional Agronomics Manager will also gather insights on industry activity and market trends and share them with Area & Regional leaders to drive continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement the strategic sales and marketing plans to grow profit and margin in the agronomic product line. This includes, but is not limited to, leveraging local media outlets, trade shows, industry magazines, and local industry meetings.
  • Work with the Agronomic Category Management Team to identify industry leading technologies to better position SiteOne in the marketplace
  • Analyze stocking SKUs and levels to better determine correct products and quantities to service the market
  • Partner with key supply partners to establish regional promotions utilizing our scope and leverage to affect the market, increase profitability, and create direct links between what we choose to sell and what the market uses
  • Analyze pricing strategies and our alignment with the market. Leverage strategies such as Key Value Item (KVI) pricing, Good/Better/Best lineups, and Product Positioning to influence markets, gain market share, and increase profitability.
  • Coordinate with the Regional Inventory Manager to ensure that inventory is in line with regional strategies
  • Develop and communicate merchandising plans and agronomic product line SOPs to agronomic branches
  • Reinforce company safety standards as well as influence new safety standards unique to agronomic categories in branch operations
  • Perform regular Market visits to:
    • Evaluate inventory, sales capability, operating standards, and provide input on staffing assessments
    • Drive agronomic skill building and development of branch associates
    • Assist with the development and coordination of customer training events, in conjunction with local teams
    • Visit key customers alongside the market team to better understand market needs and capture valuable market opportunities
  • Attend Regional/Divisional leadership meetings to deliver product line analysis and support the company strategy
  • Report directly to Regional Vice President and serve as a single point of contact for agronomic product business needs and market analysis
Geographic Area

  • This position will support our Florida Region. Candidates must live in Florida or be willing to relocate.

Skills We Are Seeking

  • 7+ years of green industry experience and extensive knowledge of industry practices and products
  • Familiarity with the agronomic business
  • Previous experience managing product inventory
  • General understanding of accounting fundamentals
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and Outlook
  • Candidates can live anywhere in Florida
