Key Responsibilities :

The Enrollment Management team seeks an experienced college admission or sales professional to join the Recruitment Team as a Regional Admissions Representative starting on September 1, 2025. This position is a work from home/remote position that will play a pivotal role recruiting new students from Northern & Central New Jersey and Metro New York and represents a strategic approach to further grow a vital out-of-state/non-Pennsylvania market by deploying creative outreach strategies in collaboration with Enrollment Leadership. A love of recruitment travel and a skillful ability to build relationships with school counselors, independent counselors, educators, students, and families will take priority in this role. Responsibilities will include admission application review and supporting select tertiary recruitment initiatives based on qualifications, skills, and interests. At select times, this professional will travel to Juniata’s Enrollment Office to attend recruitment events, campus events, and other meetings requiring an on-campus presence.

Preferred Geographic Residence Location -

Eastern Pennsylvania to recruit the Northern & Central New Jersey and Metro New York market.

Essential Duties:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for undergraduates in the select recruitment market.
  • Plan, organize and implement a data driven recruitment strategy collaboratively with Enrollment Leadership.
  • Meet with prospective students, advocates, school counselors, and independent counselors.
  • Attend in-person & virtual college fairs/events.
  • Deliver recruitment presentations.
  • Plan and host recruitment meetings and events in assigned recruitment market.
  • Collaborate with Juniata College faculty, staff, and alumni who support new student recruitment initiatives.
  • Accurately document all activities, recruitment contacts and accounts in CRM (SLATE – Technolutions)
  • Review undergraduate admission applications.
  • Evaluate completed applications for admission and scholarship awarding.
  • Ensure applicants are apprised of all necessary steps to complete their application and matriculate.
  • At times, collaborate with campus departments including Financial Aid, Registrar, Campus Life, and Dean of Students to ensure students have the onboarding tools and information needed to matriculate.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned or required.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks according to required deadlines and maintain composure under high stress conditions.
  • Ability to be optimistic, positive, and supportive in all interactions with others.
  • Demonstrate and possess a strong understanding of cultural competency and how to communicate to different audiences.
Supervision Required/Given:

This position reports directly to a member of the Juniata College Enrollment Leadership Team.

Physical Demands:

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND/OR UNUSUAL HOURS:

  • Valid driver’s license and clear driving record.
  • Evening and weekend work may be required.
  • At times, must be able to dedicate focused time to computer-based work for 2+ hours minimum.
  • At times, must be able to transition between buildings at recruitment events.
  • At times, must be able to transport approx. 25 lbs of recruitment collateral.
