Job summary

Johns Hopkins University is seeking a Regional Assistant Director for Dallas, TX to recruit and review applications from the Southwest region for first year and transfer admissions to Krieger and Whiting. Based in the Dallas area, the role serves as a public-facing ambassador for Undergraduate Admissions and Hopkins, with in-person and virtual recruitment.

The position requires travel up to eight to twelve weeks per year, some evenings and weekends, and collaboration with school counselors,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required, with at least 1 year related experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively with prospective students and families.
• Experience with presenting and recruitment activities is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct recruitment and application review for assigned region.
• Build relationships and host presentations in the market.
• Visit high schools and community organizations.
• Develop knowledge of the regional secondary school landscape.
• Leverage data analysis to inform regional decisions.
• Partner with senior leadership to expand recruitment.
• Collaborate with university partner offices on yield activities.
• Support regional events and staffing on/off campus.
• Manage relationships with counselors, students, families, and alumni.
