Job description

Position Summary

The Regional Account Executive is responsible for devising and executing individual tactical new business development plans to increase revenue, expand market presence, and identify new opportunities for growth. This role requires a strategic mindset, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to navigate complex business environments.

Responsibilities
  • Implement company’s account-based sales program to develop new business
  • Build a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities to meet and exceed sales goals
  • Initiate, build, expand and maintain strong relationships with customer’s organization across multiple departments (senior management, environmental, maintenance, operations, risk management, health & safety, purchasing, etc.)
  • Develop and execute individual tactical new business development plans aligned with overall organizational goals to drive revenue, expand market presence, and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Proactively develops and recommends innovative ideas to build new business opportunities.
  • Develops the opportunity through diligent and timely influencing of customers by leveraging current technologies, past performance, customer intimacies, and inter-company collaboration.
  • Manage execution of the full BD life-cycle process across multiple simultaneous pursuits and proposals.
  • Drive effective lead generation strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Prospect new customer targets to develop new account growth, establishing credibility in demonstrating a proactive, collaborative, problem resolution and decision-making approach, to ensure the clients’ expectations are being met.
  • Owns individual goal setting, tracking performance, and reporting on new sales activity.
  • Capture business development activities within the designated CRM tool.
  • Work in conjunction with marketing to draft case studies and other relevant marketing materials to support ongoing business development activities.
  • Prepare and present compelling business proposals to potential clients.
  • Lead negotiations with clients to secure favorable terms and agreements and prepare bids that win.
  • Close deals and ensure smooth transition to the delivery and implementation phase.
  • Gather information, analyze, and develop strategies concerning such as current market share and targets of opportunities for new growth, customers' changing requirements, competitor strengths and weaknesses, and continually communicate these strategies internally.
  • Apply strategic retention and expansion strategies within current customers to enhance account performance (e.g., probability of renewal, technology and services penetration, and contract compliance). Maintain awareness of competing products/services, discount, and pricing structures, to determine how best to service and motivate key accounts to stay with the business.
  • Report on sales, retention, revenue and forecasting to leadership and finance.
  • Develop client relationships in targeted accounts that ensures reaching or exceeding the targeted level of new business assigned.

  • Consultative and value-based selling skills leveraging the full range of Acuren’s services.
  • Proven ability to sell to new customers leveraging technological solutions to not only improve the
  • customers operational efficiencies, but also generate increased revenue through the innovative solutions identified for customer.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively present information and respond to questions of key decision makers.
  • Ability to effectively operate across diverse audiences and resolve complex business issues; ability to be forceful, but diplomatic and bring about win-win outcomes.
  • Negotiation and conflict management skills.
  • A technical, operational or project management background.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of P&L, EBITDA, and job costing.
  • Executing individual new business development activities ensuring personal sales goals are achieved by promoting and selling the full range of Acuren’s services.
  • Market research techniques to identify new clients, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to identify strategic opportunities.
  • Knowledge of winning sales strategies to drive revenue and meet or exceed individual sales targets in a competitive environment.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, marketing.
  • 5 years of business development experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial services sales’ role. Minimum of 3 years in leadership positions, managing supervisors/managers as directed.
  • Strong understanding of environmental services industry and in-depth customer relationships in these markets.
