Job summary

Hearst Television in Needham, MA is seeking a Regional Accounting Manager to work with Regional Controllers and station Business Managers on monthly results and forecasts.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Finance/Accounting and a minimum of 3 years accounting experience, with hands-on use of Oracle Financials, EPBCS, SmartView/Essbase, and advanced Excel. This in-office position emphasizes accuracy, timeliness, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with Oracle Financials and/or Oracle Planning & Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial statements and schedules for multiple stations.
• Post and review financial data in general ledgers and journals; prepare reconciliations.
• Manage monthly and annual close processes for accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and approve correcting journal entries as needed.
• Oversee subsidiary accounting records across transactions and accounts.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and account analyses.
• Assist in station forecasts and annual budgets.
• Support year-end audit schedules and audit requests.
• Ensure adherence to GAAP and internal controls.
