Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience, preferably in transportation or service industries with multiple locations.
• Knowledge of GAAP is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office with Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot tables, Data validation).
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and organize effectively.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end closes with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Provide support for general-ledger reconciliations, data accuracy, and error correction.
• Collect data from field and region personnel and maintain accrual balances.
• Assist with schedules and commentary for operational results and cash-flow reports.
• Maintain records for profit and loss, taxes, liabilities, and assets.
• Prepare special financial reports by analyzing and summarizing trends.
• Operate with a continuous improvement mindset.
