Job summary

Rexel USA is seeking a Region Pricing Analyst to optimize margins for the Houston, Dallas or Austin region. You will review sales data, collaborate with field teams, and update resale pricing in the ERP system. Strong analytical skills and ERP experience are essential to drive pricing improvements.

Responsibilities include managing SPA renewals, monitoring vendor price changes, and preparing pricing documents for load into ERP systems. A 3+ year background in pricing or analytics is required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; further education a plus.
• Experience with SPA or contract pricing is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Job Description

We are looking for a Region Pricing Analyst to join our Rexel USA team in Houston, Dallas or Austin Location!

Summary

The Region Pricing Analyst is responsible for reviewing transactional sales data and determining opportunities for margin improvement for assigned region. Uses various reports and tools to make recommendations to the pricing manager or director regarding pricing actions to be taken to improve sales productivity and accuracy of customer pricing. Works directly with the fields sales organization to secure copies of SPA contracts and prepares them for load into the ERP system. Maintains resale pricing as needed for customer specific requests.

What You’ll Do

• Analyze pricing and margin data and recommend pricing updates to meet margin improvement goals and strategies outlined by the company for assigned region
• Work Special Pricing Agreement (SPA) expiration report with field sales and management to ensure renewals of cost and sell are completed in time to avoid lapses in customer service and profit leaks
• Monitor vendor price increases and adjust resale pricing to maximize profitability
• Identify system resale pricing errors and provide solutions to maintenance group
• Create and analyze reports to measure key pricing metrics such as percent overrides
• Become an expert on all pricing software systems utilized in the assigned branches
• Formats and prepares pricing documents and spreadsheets for loading into the ERP system
• Conduct branch pricing reviews / branch audits, specifically looking at customer segmentation, price matrices, SPA utilization and renewal process, and override rates. Identify potential changes, get acceptance from sales team, implement changes and measure results
• Other duties as assigned

• Strong communication, team building and interpersonal skills - comfortable teaching classes and pushing back on sales requests when needed
