Job summary

Knife River is seeking a regional aggregates operations leader to plan, forecast, and drive performance across the region. You will develop and coordinate operational and commercial plans, implement KPIs for sales and operations, and collaborate with regional leadership to advance safety, efficiency, and commercial goals.

The role focuses on pricing dynamics, growth opportunities, and team development, with ability to travel on short notice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mining, construction, engineering or related field.
• Seven years of progressively responsible management experience in a construction materials setting.
• Experience managing aggregate production facilities.
• Proficient knowledge of computer skills and software relevant to the construction materials industry.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, lead, and mentor others.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including making presentations.
• Advanced degree in mining, construction, engineering or related field with ten years of experience (preferred).
• Significant knowledge of construction materials operations with emphasis on math and analytical skills (preferred).

Wage Starting: $140,000
