Job summary

The Oregon Department of Transportation seeks a Region 4 Manager to lead statewide programs and the Region 4 team from Bend. You’ll oversee planning, delivery, maintenance, and operations of transportation facilities, guiding a large regional staff and coordinating with internal branches and external partners.

This leadership position requires strategic vision, strong project delivery skills, and the ability to manage budgets, personnel actions, and regional collaborations.

Qualifications

• Seven years of management experience in transportation infrastructure development and project delivery.
• Four years of management experience in transportation infrastructure development and project delivery and a bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Driving is an essential function; valid U.S. driver license and acceptable driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for statewide programs and all region employees.
• Coordinate with partners to develop and implement transportation plans and emergency event plans.
• Oversee program development, project delivery, budgets, and personnel actions.
