Job description

General Definition of Work

Performs difficult professional and administrative work coordinating and communicating among contractual partners involved in the delivery of crisis response services in Region 4. Consults with mobile crisis providers and call center contractor; resolves queries from providers and other system partners; establishes and maintains relationships with mobile crisis providers via exemplary customer service skills; provides training and technical support to providers and partners regarding regional Hub policies and procedures; maintains knowledge of applicable regulatory changes pertaining to service provision of mobile crisis and community stabilization services. Maintains records and files, prepares reports and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the intermediate supervision of the assigned Program Supervisor or Program Manager.

Essential Functions
  1. Manage Region 4 Hub email account to include: answering email correspondence/ongoing questions; managing expiring licenses, insurance, and other documents; organizing virtual meeting correspondence; drafting ongoing hub messages.
  2. Understand and apply laws and regulations to facilitate the operation of Regional Programs within scope of work.
  3. Assist with management, facilitation, and education on ongoing training needs for Region 4 hub providers, including topics related to Virginia Crisis Connect, Hub roles in mobile dispatch training, and general Hub protocols.
  4. Manage yearly MOU renewal process with Region 4 Hub providers.
  5. Collaborate with procurement to maintain appropriate documentation in line with laws and regulations.
  6. Monitor BHL/DBHDS data platform regularly for data accuracy and consistency with regional records.
  7. Maintain effective communication channels with service providers, stakeholders, and clients.
  8. Follow up with private providers regarding inquiries about MOUs and related services.
  9. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop marketing materials that reflect Region 4’s mission, programs, and impact, utilizing digital and print formats.
  10. Engage with community partners to develop clear messaging for marketing materials.
  11. Serve as the communications consultant and lead training on crisis communications and message creation for internal teams.
  12. Design and produce print materials for events and programs.
  13. Maintain records, files, and prepare reports as directed.
  14. Participate actively in committees and workgroups as assigned.
  15. Attend professional conferences and trainings as required.
