Mercy in Arkansas is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to perform direct patient care in all respiratory care aspects according to physician orders, and to consult with physicians on therapy effectiveness. You will act as an advanced resource for physicians and nursing staff on respiratory care.
Requirements include graduation from a CoARC-approved Respiratory Care program, a current state RCP license, and NBRC RRT credential. PALS is required for ER staff; ACLS is preferred.
Overview
Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, according to physician's orders. Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy. Acts as an advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care. Performs duties as assigned.
