Job Title

Registered Respiratory Therapist

Responsibilities

• Performs and evaluates arterial puncture and analysis.
• Performs patient assessment and recommends appropriate interventions.
• Performs proper documentation to include acuity, charges, productivity, patient education, etc.
• Performs appropriate routine oxygen and therapeutic and diagnostic interventions.
• Performs appropriate invasive and non-invasive ventilation interventions.
• Performs appropriately in all code and patient crisis interventions.
• Performs appropriately in all pediatric and neonatal interventions.
• Maintains conservative use of all organizational resources.
• Draws and analyzes arterial blood gases.
• Intubates if certified to do so.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved training program in Respiratory Therapy.
• Previous clinical experience preferred.
• NJ State License required.
• Registration by the NBRC required.
• CPR Certification required.
• ACLS and PALS Certifications preferred.
• Strong professional, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service skills.

Compensation Range: $38.00 - $64.60 per hour. The range reflects the established salary for this position at the time of posting and may vary based on education, experience, skills, licenses, certifications, and training. Shift rates and incentives may apply.
