JOB DESCRIPTION

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Per Diem Respiratory Therapists for the Morris Plains Clinical Services Unit. The position will be working approximately 2-day shifts per week - 8:30 - 5pm Monday -Friday. Possible Saturdays.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
  • Associate Degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
  • RRT preferred
  • State professional license to provide respiratory care/services to patients in New Jersey
  • NY and PA licenses preferred

Requirements:
  • Knowledge regarding homecare services and third-party reimbursement
  • Excellent communication, documentation, customer service, organizational, prioritizing, and critical thinking skills
  • Bi-lingual preferred
  • To provide respiratory care to patients as ordered by physician, according to established standards and practices
  • Assess patient health problems and needs
  • Develop and implement care plans
  • Maintain medical records
  • Administer care to ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled patients
  • CPAP/VPAP set ups in the patient home or office
