Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Sleep Technologist who will work under the general supervision of the medical director to provide evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders, including in-center and out-of-center sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education.

The role includes performing the duties of a sleep technician and providing oversight of other sleep center staff when needed, with the sleep center located in Livingston, NJ.

• Ability to oversee sleep center staff when needed.

Responsibilities

Job description

A sleep technologist works under the general supervision of the medical director or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center and out of center sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. A sleep technologist can perform the duties defined for a sleep technician and is able to provide oversight of other sleep center staff when needed.
