Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a qualified registered nurse to provide professional nursing care to patients and families in an acute clinical setting, aligned with the SMHCS nursing practice model and the ANA Standards of Professional Practice.

Department: Ultimate Float Team. Requirements include BSN or nursing diploma, 2 years of relevant experience, Basic Arrhythmia test within 90 days, ACLS within 6 months, NIH Stroke Scale within 30 days, and basic computer skills.

Qualificações

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN required within policy timeframe.
• Two years of relevant nursing experience.
• Complete Basic Arrhythmia test within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification within six months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification within thirty days of hire.
• Basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.

Required Qualifications

• Require graduate of an accredited school of nursing or a diploma program. For new hires after 2012, Bachelor of Science Degree in nursing (BSN) is required within specified timeframe as outlined in the New Hire BSN Agreement policy (126.045).
• Require two (2) years of relevant work experience.
• Require successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia test within 90 days of employment.
• Require Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within six (6) months of hire.
• Require National Institutes of Health (NIH) Stroke Scale certification within thirty (30) days of hire.
• Require basic working knowledge of commonly used computer applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer certification in nursing specialty area.
