Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Refrigeration Technicians for both day and night shifts. The role involves maintaining and repairing refrigeration systems, including ammonia systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role.
• Deep knowledge of refrigeration systems, components, and controls, including ammonia refrigeration systems. Candidates will be considered for various levels: Associate, General, and Senior Refrigeration Technicians, with leveling determined during the interview based on skills and experience.
• Basic computer skills for logging information, processing work orders, and documentation, with the ability to learn CMMS software.
• Effective communication skills and basic math proficiency.

Preferred Skills

• Additional experience or knowledge in refrigeration systems, similar to the minimum requirements.

Shift Availability

Both day and night shifts are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support to ensure equipment operates safely and effectively.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Conduct emergency repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues.
• Interact effectively with plant personnel to meet operational goals.
• Minimize downtime caused by equipment failure.

Additional Requirements

• Education: 1 year of industrial maintenance education or currently enrolled in a technical program can substitute for experience.
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs occasionally, stand for long hours, and work in confined or variable temperature environments.
• Ability to perform overhead work and use ladders or lifts.
• Basic math skills including percentages, fractions, and measurements.
