The position requires 3+ years of experience with Thermo King or Carrier reefer units, EPA 608 certification, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and proficiency with scanners, electronic test equipment, and onboard computers. Competitive pay with benefits starts Day 1.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• At least 3 years working on Thermo King or Carrier reefer units.
• EPA 608 certification is required.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Own your tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of components on truck and trailer reefer units.
• Maintaining transport refrigeration units on trucks and trailers using scanners, electronic test equipment, and onboard computers.
• Supports college recruiting efforts by developing relationships with partner universities and participating in recruiting activities.
• Completing preventive maintenance, component replacement, and service to refrigeration equipment.
• Maintains truck and trailer refrigeration units and truck’s APU by reviewing shop orders.
• Repairing failures; removing, replacing, and testing for Freon leaks, assembling and installing parts and components involving soldering and welding.
• Installing various new units on trailers, trucks, and vans.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
