Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Heating and Ventilation Engineer to install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems at 90 Blossom Street, Boston. Shift is Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–2:30 PM, onsite.

The role requires knowledge of refrigeration, piping, and control systems, with an apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred and a Massachusetts HV Engineer license. Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent, read schematics, and hold a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Apprenticeship completion or equivalent work experience.
• Massachusetts Heating and Ventilation Engineer license required.
• 1–2 years of related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of refrigeration systems and control systems.
• Ability to read manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair refrigeration systems in various settings.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot problems with refrigeration systems.
• Ensure systems function properly and efficiently.
• Install and maintain refrigeration piping, valves, and control systems.
• Keep accurate records and maintain documentation.
• Respond to emergency calls and perform timely repairs.
