Job summary

JBS Foods is seeking a Refrigeration/Industrial Maintenance worker for a 7 A.M. to 7 P.M. four-day schedule with mandatory Sunday shifts. The role requires basic English, 1 year of refrigeration/maintenance experience, and the ability to work in varying temperatures and environments.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, monitoring refrigeration systems, generating work orders, and maintaining safety records. OT and weekend work are required as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Refrigeration or industrial maintenance.
• Ability to pass physical and background checks.
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods.
• Good interpersonal skills and reliable attendance.
• Willing to work weekends, days or nights, and overtime when required.
• Able to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Able to work in cold, hot, and wet areas; capable of heavy lifting.
• Able to read/write basic English.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Monitor and maintain refrigeration equipment.
• Prepare work orders for defects found.
• Maintain process safety management records.
• Keep records according to SOPs.
• Participate in HAZMAT and confined space training.
