Job summary

Pilgrim's in the United States seeks a qualified refrigeration/industrial maintenance technician for a 7 AM–7 PM, four-day workweek. Sunday availability is required, with overtime as needed.

Candidates must pass a background check, lift heavy objects, and read blueprints; work safely in cold, hot, and wet environments. Responsibilities include monitoring refrigeration equipment, creating work orders for defects, maintaining process safety records, and following SOPs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in refrigeration or industrial maintenance.
• Must pass physical and background check.
• Ability to stand/walk for long periods.
• Good work/attendance record and reliability.
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime when required.
• Read and understand basic English.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand blueprints and schematics.
• Monitor and maintain refrigeration equipment.
• Prepare work orders for defects found.
• Maintain process safety management records.
• Keep records according to SOPs.
• Complete HazMat and confined-space training.

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK SUNDAY

GENERAL MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Required a minimum of 1 year experience in Refrigeration or industrial maintenance.
• Must be able to pass physical and contingent to a background check.
• Must have the ability to work while walking/standing for long periods of time.
• Must have good interpersonal skills.
• Must have a good work/attendance record and be responsible.
• Must have completed 90 days
• Must be willing to work weekends, Day’s or Night’s and overtime when required.
• Must be able to follow instructions and work with little or no supervision.
• Must be able to work in both cold and hot temperatures, and wet areas.
• Must be able to do moderate to heavy lifting.
• Must be able to problem solve / ability to solve mechanical problems.
• Must be able to climb and perform work on platforms
• Must be able to pull and push heavy equipment
• Follow safety rules while operating machinery and follow procedure manuals
• ++Must be able to Read and Write basic English++
