Job summary

Accelera in Charlotte, NC is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC/R Technician to join our growing team. You will diagnose, repair, and service commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment, including walk-ins, reach-ins, and display cases, and participate in on-call rotation.

Candidates should have 3+ years of Commercial HVAC/R experience, EPA Universal Certification, and supermarket rack refrigeration experience.

We are seeking an experienced **Commercial HVAC/R Technician **to join a growing HVAC company in Charlotte, NC . This role is ideal for a skilled technician who enjoys troubleshooting, servicing, and repairing commercial refrigeration and HVAC equipment.

If you have experience working on walk-ins, reach-ins, rack refrigeration, EMS controls, and commercial HVAC systems, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Troubleshoot refrigeration, electrical, and control system issues
• Supermarket Racks
• Reach-in coolers
• Display cases
• Ice machines
• Perform preventative maintenance and service calls
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule
• Communicate professionally with customers and store personnel

What We’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of Commercial HVAC/R experience
• EPA Universal Certification required
• Must have Supermarket Rack Refrigeration experience
• Strong refrigeration and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of microprocessor controls and systems such as CPC, Novar, and Danfoss
• Experience with commercial refrigeration equipment and HVAC systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to climb ladders and lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background, drug, and MVR screening
