Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Oklahoma City seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to manage daily operations of the facilities maintenance team. You will guide technicians, oversee refrigeration systems, and ensure safety and compliance with OSHA/IIAR guidelines.

Responsibilities include training staff, coordinating with contractors, and supporting project tasks to meet company goals in a USDA processing environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of plant systems including refrigeration, water, wastewater, air, boiler, cryogenic, and mechanical processing in a USDA setting.
• Handle multiple projects and duties simultaneously.
• Ability to work with contractors, technicians, operations and office personnel.
• Strong maintenance and manufacturing decision-making to minimize downtime.
• Be computer literate with MS Word, Excel, MP2 CMMS, and related PC programs.
• Effective personnel and task scheduling.
• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices within USDA inspected facility.
• Good communication skills, both oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Update and maintain Process Safety Management programs for refrigeration systems.

• Train technicians on ammonia refrigeration systems and processes.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure safe and efficient operation of facilities.
• Assist technicians on repairs and installations of equipment and systems.
• Assist Maintenance Dept Managers with project tasks to meet company goals.
• Coordinate contractor activities to meet specifications.

Job Details: Job Location: Lopez - OKC - Oklahoma City, OK, Salary Range: $75000.00

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Responsibility is to manage the daily operations of the maintenance department and provide direction, knowledge, and assistance to technicians regarding the facilities portion of plant operations. Provide assistance as required to the operations area floor technicians as needed.

• Provide training, knowledge, and direction to the Refrigeration and Facilities maintenance staff regarding standard operating procedures, PM's and work orders, safety procedures, and staff scheduling.
• To update and maintain the Process Safety Management programs for the refrigeration systems at the facility.
• To insure all OSHA and IIAR safety guidelines are followed at all times.
• To supervise, schedule and delegate activities involving contractors working on facility related items or as assigned.
• Provide training and guidance to the technicians involved with the Ammonia refrigeration systems and processes.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure that refrigeration, and other facilities systems are operated in the most effective, safe, and efficient means to achieve company goals and objectives.
• Assist technicians as needed on repairs, installation, etc, of equipment and systems.
• Assist the Maintenance Department Managers with project tasks to achieve department and company objectives.
• Co-ordinate contractor activities to meet required specifications regarding scope of work to achieve company objectives
• Assist maintenance associates in achieving company goals and objectives as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Handle multiple projects and duties simultaneously
• Knowledge of multiple plant systems including but not limited to Refrigeration, Water, Wastewater, air, boiler, cryogenic, and mechanical processing systems in a USDA processing environment
• Ability to work with contractors, technicians, operations and office personnel
• Must be able to have good maintenance and manufacturing decision-making abilities in a timely fashion. Quick and effective decisions for repair of facilities and processing equipment to minimize downtime of processing operations
• Be computer literate with skills in MS Word, Excel, MP2 CMMS, and other PC programs relating to system operation and control. Knowledge of E-mail and Internet programs.
• Effective personnel and task scheduling.
• Knowledge of good manufacturing practices and procedures within a USDA inspected processing facility.
• Good communication skills, both orally and written.
