CoolSys in Dallas, TX is seeking an experienced refrigeration technician to repair and overhaul commercial equipment across diverse systems. You will service compressors, pumps, air handlers, and related controls, delivering safe, timely outcomes for our customers.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years in commercial refrigeration, EPA certification, and the ability to lift 60 lbs and work independently. On-call availability and driving the company vehicle are expected as part of the job.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience with display cases and walk-in boxes is helpful.
• Must lift up to 60 lbs. and work independently.
• Emergency on-call availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul refrigeration, HVAC, and related equipment to meet customer needs.
• Repair components such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical/mechanical control devices safely and efficiently.
• Perform preventative maintenance and diagnose equipment malfunctions to ensure quality work.
• Test malfunctioning systems and document work history.
• Process job tickets and service orders for the required departments.
• Drive company vehicle and assist with on-site installations and pickups.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
