Job description

Job Details:

$5000.00 SIGN ON BONUS

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 90 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.

3rd Shift hours will be from 10:00 PM - 6:30 AM.

Pay ranges from $28.05 to $40.05, based on skill level.

General Job Description: Perform skilled work in the operation, predictive and preventative maintenance, and repair of the facility’s real property, power industrial trucks, and plant facility systems. Operate and maintain the ammonia refrigeration system.

Tasks:

• Able to perform electrical and mechanical preventative and predictive maintenance as tasked.
• Complete daily log sheets, communicate effectively, and be proactive in recognizing and reporting unsafe conditions and other mechanical concerns.
• Be proactive in daily plant operations to ensure maximum plant efficiencies, product quality, and capacity.
• Assist in maintaining a relevant and accurate mechanical inventory.
• Support company personnel and food safety programs, policies, procedures, and contract employee programs.
• Follow all company personnel safety, food safety, attendance, GMP policies.
• Basic mechanical knowledge, including lubrication, power train & bearing maintenance, motor and gearbox replacement, fork truck & pallet jack maintenance.
• Able to use measurement devices.

Physical Requirements: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 months of mechanic work experience or refrigeration experience, or graduation from an industrial maintenance training program.
• PSM experience preferred.
• Refrigeration experience preferred.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, manuals, and work orders.
