Job summary

Walmart in Geneseo, NY seeks a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician to support and repair refrigeration equipment across Walmart facilities. You’ll use commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills, with tools, to complete assigned jobs in a fast-paced store environment.

Minimum qualifications include 2 years of commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance, EPA Type I/II or Universal certification, a valid driver's license, and being 18+ with a HS diploma.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience in commercial Refrigeration HVAC maintenance.
• Large scale rack refrigeration experience.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR.
• 18 years or older with a High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facility's Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and Refrigeration skills and tools.
• Process work orders and document repair activities to support Stores and Store associates.
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls.
• Inspect facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues.
• Complete training to operate equipment safely and comply with safety policies and guidelines.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and work at heights frequently.
