Job summary

Strack & Van Til Food Market is seeking a Refrigeration/HVAC Supervisor to oversee refrigeration and HVAC maintenance, lead a team of over ten technicians, and ensure timely handling of work orders and emergencies.

You will apply expertise in refrigeration, building controls, and light programming to sustain system operation and support asset management efforts across facilities.

Qualifications

• Refrigeration and HVAC experience required.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of refrigeration and building controls, including light programming.
• Asset management experience or knowledge.
• Demonstrated core leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and maintenance associated with refrigeration and HVAC systems.
• Complete work orders and apply corrective and preventive measures in a timely manner.
• Assist the maintenance team with repairs and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Supervise and provide day-to-day leadership for a team of more than 10 employees.
• Participate in the supervisor on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Use knowledge of refrigeration and building control systems, including light programming, to support system operation and repairs.
• Support asset management activities related to refrigeration and HVAC equipment.

Position Summary
