Job summary

J.P. Kempf is seeking an experienced Refrigeration Field Technician to support our growing service team and customer base.

The role involves installing, diagnosing, servicing, and repairing commercial and industrial refrigeration systems with a focus on safe, compliant operation. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of field service experience, a valid driver’s license, and is familiar with ammonia systems; a D2 license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of field service experience.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience with commercial and/or industrial refrigeration systems.
• D2 License.
• Ammonia refrigeration experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Install, diagnose, service, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration systems
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration-related issues
• Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate effectively with customers
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with industry standards

Competitive Pay: $35.00 to $62.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

Install, diagnose, service, and repair commercial and industrial refrigeration systems
