Job summary

Hussmann is seeking a Design Engineer to join its engineering team, focusing on concept design and development of refrigerated display cases. You will work with Product Management, Manufacturing, and Program Management to deliver high-quality product releases on schedule.

The role requires hands-on design optimization for cost, manufacturability, and performance, with experience in CFD/FEA interpretation and 3D CAD.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent) required.
• 5+ years of Product Design and Evaluation experience for Refrigerated Products.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Lead Engineers on conceptual design and development of refrigerated display cases.
• Design for Manufacturing using sheet metal, tubing, electrical assemblies, welded frames, and sub-assemblies.
• Coordinate product releases within the PLM system and ensure on-time delivery.
