Job summary

Green Top Farms in New York is seeking a Pick & Pack Assistant to accurately select, pack, and organize food orders for delivery. You will support both hot and cold production areas and work with Dispatch and Operations to ensure on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Previous food production, warehouse, catering, fulfillment, or kitchen experience preferred.
• Ability to work in refrigerated and hot kitchen environments.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret order sheets to accurately select products for customer orders.
• Pick and pack ready-to-eat meals, hotel pans, grab-and-go items, beverages, and other food products according to order specifications.
• Ensure hot and cold food items are maintained at proper temperatures during packing.
• Organize cooler, freezer, and dry storage areas according to FIFO principles.
• Follow GMPs, food safety standards, and sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with Pick & Pack, Production, and Dispatch teams for smooth operations.
