Job summary

BODYBAR Pilates - Chesterfield is seeking an energetic Instructor to lead dynamic BODYBAR Pilates classes and mentor members in proper form. You will teach sessions, ensure safety, and foster a welcoming studio environment in a fast-growing boutique setting.

Reporting to the Fitness Manager, the role emphasizes high-energy coaching, customer care, and flexible scheduling to support member retention and studio growth.

Qualifications

• Passion for health and helping others feel strong.
• Strong communication and people skills.
• Basic knowledge of anatomy and body movement.
• Pilates or group fitness experience preferred.
• Complete and pass BODYBAR’s Instructor Training Program.
• CPR & AED certification is required.
• Provide proof of instructor liability insurance when requested.

Responsibilities

• Be a BODYBAR ambassador—bring energy to every class you teach.
• Lead form-focused Pilates classes using the BODYBAR method—challenge and support all fitness levels.
• Guide members with expert cues to keep them safe, aligned, and confident.
• Provide clear, upbeat support to members—answer questions on modifications and policies.
• Own your class schedule—secure subs promptly for an excellent member experience.
• Build community by connecting with members before, during, and after class.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Basic knowledge of anatomy and body movement
• Pilates or group fitness experience (preferred, not required)
• Complete and pass BODYBAR’s Instructor Training Program
• CPR & AED Certification is required
• Instructors must obtain and provide proof of Instructor liability insurance as requested
