Content Area or Department:
WestEd’s Early Childhood Intervention, Mental Health and Inclusion (ECIMHI) team provides training and technical assistance in policy development, research translation, systems evaluation, and implementation of evidence-based practices to support infants, toddlers, young children, and their families. The team collaborates with federal, state, and local agencies to transform early childhood programs and systems, leveraging research-informed strategies and stakeholder engagement to build capacity and improve outcomes for vulnerable and underserved populations.
As part of the California Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC) Network, the Reflective Practice Mentor will work with the Project Director to co-lead the Reflection Practice and Supervision team responsible for developing and implementing reflective practice across a statewide project. The ideal candidate will be endorsed by the California Center for Infant-Family and Early Childhood Mental Health and have demonstrated experience in providing and receiving reflective practice.
Priority will be given to candidates with experience navigating programs and communities often underrepresented in the infant and early childhood mental health workforce, bringing diverse lived experiences that emphasize inclusion of different voices and perspectives.
