Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic experience in collision repair preferred.
• Ability to read repair estimates and safety instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist refinish technicians with vehicle surface preparation (sanding, masking, cleaning) before painting.
• Support painters by mixing paint, preparing spray equipment, and ensuring color matching.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area following procedures.
• Operate refinishing tools and equipment safely and correctly.
• Document repairs and maintain accurate records for each vehicle.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear PPE as required.
• Adhere to environmental and safety regulations for paints and solvents.
• Collaborate with team to ensure efficient workflow and quality results.
• Perform additional duties to support shop operations.
