Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry with 16 semester hours in chemistry required.
• Two or more years of chemical analysis and laboratory experience required.
• Must be able to wear PPE and work in refinery environment.
• Authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive chemical analysis of water, petroleum, gasoline, solvents and other compounds using standard tests.
• Ensure adherence to good lab practice and quality assurance standards.
• Record and analyze results; issue COAs to internal and external customers.
• Develop procedures to correct unfavorable conditions identified by analysis.
• Maintain laboratory instrumentation and train personnel on new methods.
