Job summary

Grnoklahomacity location seeking a Process Engineering Supervisor to lead refinery process engineering support across refining and utilities units in Central Oklahoma. The role involves directing engineers, prioritizing projects, and ensuring reliable operations with vendor coordination.

Candidate should have a BSc in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and 6+ years of refinery experience, including supervisory roles and process safety expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 6 years’ combined refinery process engineering and refinery operations experience.
• Minimum 2 years’ direct supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in process engineering unit operations, troubleshooting and design.
• Knowledge of Refining Process Technology, utilities, and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for supervising activities related to process engineering support at the refinery operations.
• Provide input into hiring and evaluation of Process Engineers and Process Specialists.
• Manage and mentor engineers and contribute to refinery budgeting and project prioritization.
• Assist in prioritizing projects and coordinate with overall refinery needs.
• Help with debottlenecking, optimization and reliability project development.
• Coordinate identification of key compliance requirements and best operating practices.
• Provide coordination with vendors and contract process engineering services.
• Develop equipment specifications and bid recommendations; train group on engineering tools.
• Coordinate project work support and ensure timely reviews of drawings and MOCs.
• Provide support for refinery turnarounds and 24-hour process callout coverage.
• Guide reports in KPI development and monitoring of plant operations.
