Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.
• Two years of process engineering experience within refining or heavy industry.
• Valid driver's license.
• Legally authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis without visa sponsorship.
• Ability to wear PPE in refinery and perform field tasks.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to refinery/organizational long-term strategy and identify opportunities to increase throughput, yields, reliability, and energy optimization.
• Perform process simulations and calculations to support equipment sizing, hydraulic analysis, and energy optimization; lead economic analysis and ROI.
• Collaborate with project engineers, operations, and vendors to align design with operations.
• Prepare process design packages and support HAZOPs, LOPA, and other safety reviews.
• Stay current with industry standards to ensure high-quality, cost-effective designs.
