Job summary

You will collaborate with MPLX, Commercial Scheduling, Planning & Optimization, and Refinery Products Control to identify optimization opportunities and drive economic value. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred)

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is required.
• Chemical Engineering is preferred.
• Two (2) years of relevant experience required.
• Technical Services or Economics & Planning experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the commercial aspects of refinery operations and optimization.
• Demonstrates understanding of refinery operations, economics, and market dynamics.
• Develops optimized production plans using linear programming models.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to gather data and validate accuracy.
• Assists in developing decision-making frameworks and presenting findings to stakeholders.
• Analyzes historical refinery data to identify trends and opportunities.
