Position Summary Value Chain Optimization is seeking a motivated employee with interest in commodities scheduling and optimization of the refinery, while working closely with business partners to identify and advance optimization opportunities. This position works across organizations, including but not limited to MPLX, Commercial Scheduling, Planning & Optimization, and Refinery Products Control. The ideal candidate should be a strong communicator with interest in learning refinery economics and MPC’s Value Chain Optimization side of the business. VCO views this as a growth opportunity for an employee seeking to gain knowledge in refinery logistics & economics, as well as the commercial side of the business. This position is located in Canton, OH, and will report directly to Economics & Planning Manager – Canton Refinery.
