Phillips 66 Company is seeking an Engineer, Energy to improve refinery energy performance, reliability, and emissions. You will analyze energy use across heaters, boilers, heat exchangers, and other units and influence energy improvements across the site.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3+ years in energy or refinery engineering, with willingness to travel up to 5% and obtain a TWIC. Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 3+ years of energy, refinery or process engineering experience.
• Willing to obtain TWIC and travel up to 5%.

Mansioni

• Develop and analyze Energy Intensity Index (EII) and other site energy KPIs to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Identify and prioritize energy losses across heaters, boilers, heat exchangers; quantify energy, cost, and emissions opportunities and drive defect-elimination plans.
• Support refinery operations and abnormal conditions by evaluating and optimizing performance within safe limits.
• Maintain a multi-year Energy Improvement Roadmap linking operating improvements, maintenance, reliability actions, and capital projects to site margin and emissions goals.
• Develop preliminary economics for energy-related expenses and capital projects; provide energy SME through design, MOC, HAZOPs, PSSR, and commissioning.
• Plan and support energy-related turnaround/outage work including meter, repairs, and recommissioning with post-turnaround reviews.
• Improve energy metering, data quality, dashboards, and analytics; collaborate with Instrumentation, Electrical, Process Control, and digital teams.
