Job summary

Frontier Cooperative is hiring a full-time CDL driver to join our Nebraska-based team. You will operate refined fuel trucks, load, secure hoses, and ensure safe transfers at bulk locations and vendor terminals.

You'll plan efficient routes, perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain records, and comply with OSHA/DOT regulations while supporting our communities with reliable fuel delivery services.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with HazMat and Tanker endorsements required.
• Excellent customer service, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to safely operate commercial vehicles and site equipment.
• Read and interpret work orders, batch loads, gauges, maps, weigh tickets.
• Record DOT inspections, mileage, fuel reports, and work orders.
• Proficient in basic math for proportions, percentages, and volume calculations.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL tractor/trailer or straight trucks with HazMat/Tanker endorsements.
• Prepare trucks to receive refined fuels at bulk locations or vendor terminals.
• Connect hoses, monitor meters, and secure hoses during loading.
• Plan the most efficient daily delivery routes.
• Monitor overflow gauges during transfer and secure hoses upon completion.
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance.
• Follow safety standards and comply with OSHA, DOT, state, and federal regulations.

What you'll do:

Fuel loading & transport

• Operate refined fuel tractor/trailer or straight trucks with CDL Class A or B and HazMat/Tanker endorsements
• Prepare truck to receive refined fuels at bulk company locations or vendor terminals
• Connect hoses, operate transfer systems, and monitor overflow meters when loading product
• Fill truck to required amounts by monitoring fuel meters; secure hoses and prepare truck for transport upon completion

Customer delivery

• Plan the most efficient daily delivery routes through the trade territory
• Connect hoses to customer fuel tanks and set fill meters to required gallon amounts
• Monitor overflow gauges during transfer; secure hoses to truck upon completion
  

Vehicle inspections & maintenance

• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections checking lights, turn signals, tires, lug-nuts, air pressure, horn, wipers, oil, antifreeze, belts, brakes, and fifth wheel coupler
• Perform or assist with routine maintenance including oil and filter changes, lights, belts, wiper blades, grease fittings, and non-air brake parts
• Keep vehicles clean inside and out to promote a positive company image

Safety & compliance

• Follow all company safety standards and comply with OSHA, DOT, state, and federal regulations
• Renew CDL license and endorsements on time; attend workshops and review technical publications to stay current

What we are looking for:

• CDL Class A or B with HazMat, and Tanker endorsements
• Strong customer service, time management, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to safely operate commercial vehicles, boom trucks, trenchers, hose couplers, pneumatic and hand tools, and company software
• Able to read and interpret work orders, batch loads, gauges, maps, weigh tickets, delivery tickets, and equipment manuals
• Able to write and record DOT inspection reports, mileage and fuel reports, and work orders
• Basic math skills including proportions, percentages, and volume calculations
