What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Schedule and obtain authorizations/pre-certifications for various specialized tests and referrals
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting patients and coordinating testing with various parties
- Document authorizations and notify patients of scheduled procedures and necessary instructions
- Maintain operational knowledge of department equipment and assist in policy and procedure reviews
- Ensure clarity in medical documents and work with third-party payers for approvals

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Proficiency with computer software applications including Excel and Word

- Familiarity with medical terminology preferred
- Experience with orthopedic terminology highly preferred
