Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a detail-oriented Referral Coordinator to join our Women's Care Team!
We are looking for someone with a professional demeanor who can work well under stress/stress situations, will provide great customer service to our patients, and is able to multitask!
Under the supervision of the Practice Manager, the Referral Coordinator will facilitate referrals from our Family Medicine providers to other hospital providers, specialists, and outside facilities. This position is responsible for partnering with multiple insurance companies for authorizations, ensuring referrals are maintained in a timely manner, and sent to the appropriate provider. The Referral Coordinator will assist patients in the coordination of care and provide details to patients regarding the status of their referral to outside providers. Answer incoming calls and redirects as needed in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.
