Referral Coordinator– SMASA

Job Type:Full Time - Remote

*Candidates must be local to San Antonio TX as the first two weeks are required in person for training.

Salary:$17.00 / Hr

Hours: Mon-Thurs8:30am-5:30pm (Required 1 hour lunch 12:30pm-1:30pm), Fri 8:00am-4:00pm (Optional lunch)

*Part-time and PRN employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) benefit.


Responsibilities

You’ll Achieve Success By:

  • Operate as first point of contact for the company in a role that is call center-adjacent and includes managing incoming/outgoing call phone queue.
  • Manage a high volume of incoming referrals and handle consecutive calls efficiently.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining strong attention to detail.
  • Schedule patient appointments accurately and promptly.
  • Perform data entry with precision.
  • Communicate with patients and physicians over the phone to address inquiries and needs.
  • Collaborate with various team members at Texas Physical Therapy Specialists to ensure patient and customer requests are addressed effectively and in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Basic office and customer service skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly communicate with others
  • Full Time Availability required
  • Local to San Antonio TX, and able to attend the first two weeks in person for training
  • Previous experience in a similar role required(Medical front desk, Medical admin)
