Responsibilities

• Use the referral workqueue and reports to obtain authorization for referrals.
• Prepare referral forms and transmit information to specialists and insurers for prior authorization.
• Communicate with patients and providers to gather information and inform about delays.
• Identify in-network providers and arrange appointments as needed.
• Document referral status and assist scheduling when required.
• Adhere to all regulations, policies and instructions.
