Job summary

Integrated Home Care Services (IHCS) is seeking a Referral Coordinator to manage intake for healthcare services in Miramar, FL. You will act as the bridge between patients, IHCS, and health plans, ensuring accurate patient data and timely referrals.

The role requires 2+ years in home health intake, strong communication skills, and comfort with EMR/EHR systems. On-site position with competitive benefits and opportunities for growth within IHCS.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of intake referrals experience within Home Health.
• Effective verbal and written communication skill.
• Ability to use various computer programs and applications, EMR/EHR included.
• Ability to self-motivate and work independently.
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively.
• Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Handle the intake process of orders for healthcare services.
• Serve as liaison between IHCS, patients, and health plans.
• Verify patient information and insurance; process authorizations/referrals.
• Obtain and release clinical documentation; respond to health plan inquiries.
• Research and resolve patient accounts or elevate for resolution.

What will you be doing:

As a Referral Coordinator, you handle the intake process of the order for healthcare services; liaison between our company and our patients and health plans; verify patient information, insurance verification, authorization/referral processing, obtaining and releasing clinical documentation, responds to health plan inquiries, and research and resolve patient accounts, or elevate for resolution.

What will you need to succeed:

• 2+ years of intake referrals experience within Home Health
• Effective verbal and written communication skill
• Ability to use various computer programs and applications, IE EMR/EHR
