The position also involves creating referrals and managing outstanding balances for patients.

Qualifications

• Must have healthcare experience with Managed Care Insurance.
• Minimum two to three years of experience in a healthcare environment.
• Working knowledge of Centricity Practice Management and Centricity EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Verifies and updates patient registration information.
• Obtains benefit verification and necessary authorizations.
• Uses online verification systems for accuracy.
• Creates appropriate referrals and processes them timely.
• Maintains satisfactory productivity rates.
