The role leads advanced research, collaborates with Technical Services, and coordinates web content and accessibility of public-facing library resources. ALA-accredited master's is required along with professional experience.
Qualifications
- Master's in library science from an ALA-accredited program and professional library experience.
- Alternative: Bachelor's with 21 credits in library studies plus two years of professional experience.
- Alternative: Associate's with 21 credits and four years of library experience, three at professional level.
- High school + 21 credits in library studies + seven years library experience, four at professional level.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional reference assistance and complex research support.
- Manage public access to collections and coordinate displays and guides.
- Maintain and improve the library's online presence and digital resources.
