Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking an intermediate Reference Data Services Intmd Analyst in the United States (Missouri). The role develops professional skills, solving problems with some independence and applying data analysis methods and industry standards.

You will ensure data quality for reference data, coordinate with global teams to maintain a consistent data model, and verify client/product details from regulatory and control perspectives while escalating issues as needed.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing data quality/quality assurance functions over reference data maintained by Markets Reg Controls (MRC) confirming validity and accuracy of entity data.
• Liaises with other operational teams globally to ensure that a globally consistent model is followed.
• Verifies all details of the client/product from a regulatory and control perspective.
• Serves as escalation point for issues and complex processing.
• Involved in key projects for unit.
• Delivers daily project work and escalation management, routine and defined tasks, while developing knowledge of the broader context in which work is being performed.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
